This is SWK’s 7th year participating in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event and we couldn’t be more excited. The event takes place at Cooper River Park 5300 N Park Dr Pennsauken, NJ on October 22. We’ve always been a company that wanted to give back.

We Moved!

For those of you who may not have heard the SWK Networking team that previously resided in the South Jersey Westville, NJ office has moved to a new location at 650 Grove Road, Suite 106, West Deptford, NJ 08066. As we have grown over the years the old location became a little too small for us.

Just when you thought your Mac was safe from security threats, here we come with troubling news. There’s a new form of scareware in town that’s been fooling Mac users into purchasing illegitimate software. However, in all fairness, this one is quite convincing.

The smartphone. It seems like the last safe haven from online security threats. As yours rests snugly in your pocket, you’d never think a virus, Trojan, or other malware could touch it. Even if one did, you think, how much damage could it really cause? Well, we’ve got some bad news for Android users: New malware can cause catastrophic damage to your phone and data.

You may have seen in the news last month that a hospital fell victim to a cyberattack. The Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center was in a state of emergency after ransomware infected their network and held it for ransom.

The attack compromised the hospital’s functionality and the staff was unable to access patient records such as x-rays, lab reports, MRI results, etc.
