Symantec pcAnywhere – Would you like a simple way to access a remote computer, possibly work from home?  pcAnywhere provides remote control over a modem’s dial up connection or even the Internet.

For traditional database needs with the extras of pre-designed templates and the option of sharing your databases over the Internet, the standard version of FileMaker Pro is exactly what you’re looking for.  You might want to take advantage of the 30-day trial.  It is slightly limited but it’s a great way to become familiar.

For serious database Internet publishing for an unlimited quantity of users, FileMaker Pro Unlimited will do the trick.  Staff, clients or anyone whom you’ve provided security clearance to can easily view, update and add records.   

If you ever dreamed of updating a database while on the road, FileMaker Mobile could be your solution.  FileMaker Mobile allows you to synchronize your office database with a Palm Pilot or other Palm OS handheld.
