Ray Super Remote

Do you currently have a basket filled with remote controls? Maybe you just have them taking over your couch and coffee table. Either way I’m sure it is a pain to go through the several steps on multiple remotes just to sit down, relax, and watch a little TV after a long day at the office. Well those days may be numbered for you, there is a new remote named simply, “Ray”.

Ray connects to just about everything! Like over 1,200 different brands and 200,000 devices everything. It uses all kinds of connectivity to get the job done, like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to name a couple. According to Ray, setup is just a matter of connecting to Wi-Fi and linking your devices and it is good to go.

This super remote looks more like a smartphone then a remote, weighing in at just 6 oz and measurements of 5.5in x 2.5in x 0.5in and featuring a touch screen with a couple buttons on its side. It also sports a minimalistic design and uses a rechargeable battery, so no need for those AA’s. Its battery life is said to last around ten days.

You can really do some cool stuff with this remote, like having it keep track of your favorite shows, when they are on next, and then being just a tap away to turn to your show. There’s even a nifty little search so you can find shows, or channels super-fast. Have kids? There is an interface for children showing only options for kid friendly shows using a simple visual interface.

The Ray Super Remote is not available yet, but you can check it out now and pre-order on its website here.
